India Post GDS Recruitment 2026: Department of Posts, Government of India ने Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS) Online Engagement Schedule-II, July-2026 का official notification जारी कर दिया है। इस recruitment के तहत Branch Postmaster (BPM), Assistant Branch Postmaster (ABPM) और Dak Sevak के पदों पर candidates का engagement किया जाएगा।
Eligible candidates 31 August 2026 से One-Time Registration कर सकते हैं, जबकि online application submission की प्रक्रिया 02 September 2026 से 21 September 2026 तक चलेगी। आवेदन करने से पहले candidates को official notification carefully पढ़ने की सलाह दी जाती है।

Educational Qualification
India Post GDS Recruitment 2026 के लिए candidate के पास निम्न qualification होना चाहिए:
- Candidate ने किसी recognized Board से 10th Standard / Secondary School Examination पास किया हो।
- Mathematics और English में passing marks होना आवश्यक है।
- Candidate ने prescribed local language को 10th Standard तक पढ़ा होना चाहिए।
- Qualification से संबंधित details candidate की 10th marksheet के अनुसार होनी चाहिए।

Note: Official notification में vacancy position Circle/Division-wise दी गई है। इसलिए candidates को अपने preferred Circle/Division की available vacancy official GDS portal पर check करनी चाहिए।
Salary / TRCA
GDS employees को Time Related Continuity Allowance (TRCA) के रूप में remuneration दिया जाता है। इसके अलावा applicable Dearness Allowance और अन्य benefits भी मिलते हैं।

Selection Process
India Post GDS Recruitment में सामान्य written examination नहीं है। Candidates का selection मुख्य रूप से 10th Standard के marks के आधार पर तैयार merit list के माध्यम से किया जाएगा।

GDS Job Profile
Branch Postmaster (BPM)
- Branch Post Office के day-to-day operations को handle करना।
- India Post Payments Bank (IPPB) से संबंधित कार्य करना।
- Branch Office का smooth functioning सुनिश्चित करना।
- Postal products और services की marketing/promotion करना।
- आवश्यकता पड़ने पर ABPM की duties भी perform करना।
Assistant Branch Postmaster (ABPM)
- Stamps और stationery की sale।
- Mail conveyance और doorstep delivery।
- IPPB deposits, payments एवं अन्य transactions में सहायता।
- BPM को postal operations में assist करना।
- Postal products और services की marketing/promotion करना।
Dak Sevak
- Mail और parcels की handling एवं delivery।
- Post Office, Sorting Office, Mail Office और Delivery Centre में कार्य।
- Mail bags और parcels को handle करना।
- Post Office के smooth functioning में assistance देना।
Other Eligibility / Requirements
- Computer Knowledge होना चाहिए।
- Cycling का knowledge होना चाहिए।
- Candidate के पास adequate means of livelihood होना चाहिए।
- Selected candidate को engagement के समय prescribed undertaking submit करना होगा।
Documents Required
Document Verification के समय candidates को अपने original documents प्रस्तुत करने होंगे। इनमें मुख्य रूप से शामिल हैं:
- 10th Marksheet / Certificate
- Identity Proof
- Caste Certificate, यदि applicable हो
- EWS Certificate, यदि applicable हो
- PwBD Certificate, यदि applicable हो

One-Time Registration (OTR)
GDS application process में पहले One-Time Registration (OTR) करना होगा। Registration के लिए candidate के पास अपना active mobile number और email ID होना चाहिए। दोनों को OTP के माध्यम से verify किया जाएगा।
Registration complete होने के बाद candidate को unique Registration Number प्राप्त होगा। एक candidate के लिए केवल एक registration की अनुमति है। Duplicate या multiple registration मिलने पर candidature cancel की जा सकती है।

- Mobile Number और Email ID को OTP से verify करें।
- अपनी personal details और 10th examination details भरें।

- अपना Circle/Division और available posts select करें।
- Post preference carefully भरें।
- Recent Photograph और Signature upload करें।
- यदि applicable हो तो ₹100 application fee pay करें।
