Merge PDF — Applykare.in
Merge multiple PDF files into a single PDF — client-side, secure, and fast.
- Use modern browsers (Chrome/Firefox/Edge).
- For large PDFs, merge in small batches to avoid memory issues.
- This runs fully in your browser — files are not uploaded.
How to use the Merge PDF tool
This quick guide explains how to use the client-side Merge PDF tool to combine multiple PDF files into one. Copy the HTML below into the WordPress Block Editor (Code Editor or a Custom HTML block) and publish.
Quick steps
- Open the Merge PDF tool page in your browser.
- Drag & drop PDF files into the drop zone, or click Choose PDFs to select files.
- Reorder files using the Up / Down buttons to set the merge order.
- Uncheck any file you don’t want to include (use the checkbox next to each file).
- Enter a name for the output file (for example:
merged.pdf). - Click Merge Selected PDFs — the merged PDF will be generated and download will start automatically.
- Use Clear to reset the list and free memory.
Detailed instructions
Upload files: You can either drag & drop multiple PDF files into the dropzone or click the box and select files using the file picker. The tool loads files locally in your browser; nothing is uploaded to any server.
Reorder and edit list: After files load you will see each filename and page count. Use the ↑ and ↓ buttons to move files up or down — pages are copied into the merged PDF in the same sequence as they appear in the list. Use the remove (✕) button to delete any file from the list.
Select which files to merge: Each item has a checkbox. Uncheck a file to exclude it from the final PDF without removing it from the list.
Merge: Click Merge Selected PDFs. The tool creates a new PDF, copies pages from each selected source PDF in order, and starts the download. For large files this may take a moment.
Troubleshooting & tips
- If drag & drop doesn’t work, try using the file picker or open the page in a modern browser (Chrome/Firefox/Edge) and disable extensions that block file access.
- Encrypted or password-protected PDFs usually cannot be loaded and will trigger an error — remove protection or use an unprotected copy.
- For very large PDFs (many pages or large file sizes), merge in smaller batches to avoid browser memory issues.
- If a merge fails, remove the last-added file and try merging the remaining files to identify any problematic PDF.
- Because processing happens in the browser, the merge is private — files are not uploaded to any server.
